The lost vikings walkthrough12/29/2023 ![]() Send Scorch up and over to get to the White Blocks, while Baleog goes down and right to get to the Buttons. He should go down all the way, then through the teleporter breaking all of the weak floors as he goes. In Level 12 Olaf does all the work at the beginning of this level. Have them all start working their way up and right, then down to find the exit. Olaf will go down over the spikes to get the Spell Scroll while Fang wall jumps up and over to rescue him. Erik should jump into the water to find a Bomb which allows Fang to use the key. In Level 11, send Fang up to get the Yellow Key while Olaf goes down and wait. Use Baleog and Scorch to get up and right to find the Target that frees Erik. Send Erik right to get the Yellow Key and the Spell Scroll. In Level 10, send Scorch ahead to find the Dragon's Egg and open the door by the teleporter to go right. Olaf will get to the Sorceress first by one route, then Erik and Scorch will have to go up and over to find the exit. Olaf should go down and left to find Scorch, then they should go all the way right to find a teleporter. In Level 9, send Erik right to get the Red Key, then back into the water and down. Start heading down and left, to get the necessary items, then all the way right to find the exit. In Level 8, use Olaf to get the Yellow Key, then have Erik jump up to get the Red Key. Keep heading right to the second elevator, then go down and left to find the exit. In Level 7, send Erik into the water, while Fang goes up to find a Skeleton Key. In Level 6, send the two Vikings left to get the Yellow Key and Fang. Once it's opened, move forward through the level with Olaf in front. Erik has to swim to get the Skeleton Key to let Olaf through. Send all the Vikings right to the weak floor. In Level 5, send Erik through the water, then up to hit the Button. From there, send Erik ahead to get the Red Key and the Vampire Bat Wing. ![]() In Level 4, send Olaf ahead to get a Skeleton Key, then move the others down the elevator. Finally, make sure Olaf is in the lead and follow the path to the exit. In Level 3 Use Olaf to get the first Skeleton Key, then Erik to get the Red Key. You can even observe pro (and amateur) games on the Internet Go Server.In Level 2, follow the path the game gives you with Olaf in the lead to avoid damage from enemies. The Lost Snowmen looks to continue the genre and puts you in control of three snowmen, each with unique abilities. The Lost Snowmen (Windows, 25MB, free) - Remember The Lost Vikings? If not, you missed out on one of the best 2D puzzle platform games of the last 3,000 years. What it lacks in originality and gameplay variety it makes up in setting and story. Item hunting is fairly straightforward, the minigames aren't overdone, and the developer spent a lot of time making sure everything made sense in context of the whole experience. Mystery Chronicles sticks to its guns and goes the old-fashioned route with a remarkably rich atmosphere and classic murder mystery storyline. Mystery Chronicles - Murder Among Friends ( Mac/Windows, 50MB, demo) - Hidden object games are everywhere these days, and it seems like every developer is trying to out do the next by spicing up its item finding with one strange gimmick or another. ![]() Two really fascinating blasts from (or to) the past this week: The Lost Snowmen, which spiritually resurrects one of my favorite games from the 90s, The Lost Vikings (link leads to a severely downscaled online demo), and Cavern of Doom, which takes pixelated graphics to an almost painful extreme.
